Character Description
If a person were to take "andal" and describe them for the history books it is possible that Lucian is what is described. For a human he is built tall and broad with a height of 6'1" (185cm) and a figure that has known hard work for most of its life. His complexion is pale and has a habit of freckling during the summer months and his hair which is kept cropped short except for the very top is a color similar to fresh straw. He has unremarkable muddy hazel eyes and three long claw marks run up along his left temple as a testament to his fate as a child. It's hard to say how old he is in actuality but he has the appearance of a man in their prime, mid to late thirties.
His wolf self is large and in impeccable shape, comparable more to a small horse than a canine of any normal size or standard. His coat is similar to a Eurasian wolf's with a cream underbelly, a vivid orange primary coat, and a dusting of black guard hairs along with a black saddle patch and markings over nose, ears, and tail. A thick scruff protects his neck and his wolf eyes are a proper predatory yellow.
Shard Plot Line
Lucian is the Alpha of the Şosea pack, the collection of lycanthropes that belong to the Şosea caravan that calls the lands and roads of Kraestret home. As part of the council of elders that lead the caravan he has a large circle of influence with them and the lycans that belong in the pack, and would be very useful as an associate among the Kraestret political circle.
He is also very obviously of andal heritage, which makes him a characteristic outlier of his clan and could be potentially used against him at a later time.
Strengths: Levelheaded, tactical, fairly intelligent, willful, charismatic
Weaknesses: At times temperamental, his pack and clan are sources of easy manipulation, full moons, silver, an unknown bloodline
Special Roleplay Ability
Alpha's Will - As Alpha Lucian has a certain wide-spectrum bond to all members of his pack and clan and with this bond comes a certain influence he can have over their emotions and will. He can directly affect and therefore command those that are bound to him, eliciting emotional and physical responses from them. This can be resisted but at great cost and he is fully aware of repercussions if he uses it neglectfully. If he is usurped as alpha this ability ceases to exist as the bond and the trust that forges the magic is broken.

Backstory
He was only just a boy when it happened. Nine, maybe ten years of age he had gone into the woods with his father with all the excitement a young Andal boy could muster at the prospect of joining in on his first hunt. It was supposed to be an easy thing, they were not even hunting the monsters that his father had spent all his life lecturing about. Just a stag, da had said. The servants and retainers and houndsmen usually did the hunting but his da was a man of sport and hoped to instill in his heir and eldest son a love for the hunt. It was supposed to be simple. Just a stag.
They found the wolves instead.
His da did not survive the attack. The wolves were feral. At least that's what the healers kept insisting as they kept the young boy barely alive. Feral wolves, diseased maybe. An unfortunate accident. This is what they told the boy but one among the healers knew better and knew what was coming as they kept the young thing just from the brink of death. The wolves weren't just wolves.
Lycanthropes. Vile beasts. She and all the rest prayed their young lord would be spared the disease the mongrels spread through their saliva and evil ways.
He was not so lucky. By next moon the young Andal lord was revealed to be far worse off than scarred from an attack. When it was discovered he had become a lycan through the mauling he was dragged out as no young boy should be, bound and gagged by wrist and ankle. He was supposed to have been slain to keep evidence of the family's scorn from ever resurfacing. The story would be shared that both lord and son of the estate were killed in a most horrendous hunting accident. That the boy had struggled for weeks against wounds but they ultimately took him by infection. No one need be the wiser.
It was fortunate for the boy that his executioner was not all he seemed. Unable to take the life of a child so bluntly he left the boy in the woods as far as he could go. Maybe nature would be merciful and take the boy in a cold storm, or maybe the beasts would have him. As long as the boy's life wasn't on his hands. So he abandoned his lord's son to the fate of the wild and went home, cleansing his soul of guilt.
It was the caravan that found the boy bound and gagged. They took him in though reluctantly so as he so clearly could not deny his bloodline by trait, but with the next moon and the revelation of why he had been abandoned he became part of their family without hesitation. For the past decades it has been the caravan that raised boy to man, and the caravan that gave him his new name. Lucian. Dawn and bright of sun like the hair on his head and the sheer force of will he bore to live and overcome. Now a man, the boy bound and gagged has come into his own as both warrior and protector. As Alpha, thrown to the wolves where fate chose he would remain.
