Character Name - Leikny
Character Race & Sub-Race - Aelfeyn; Trow
Alternate Graphic - A large (RP wise) snow leopard; standard 'big cat' graphic as pale as we can get it without washing out.
Character Description - 6'5", pale blue-grey skin, platinum blond hair with a faint wash of strawberry, narrow pointed ears. Her eyes are mismatched, one a pale ice-green, the other pale near-violet blue. Her teeth are less intensely sharp than many of her kind, but still fearsome enough to most other races.

Shard Plot Line - She is not much of a warrior, preferring her bow and arrows or her bardic talents to standing and fighting other than in play. However, she is intensely loyal to those who earn it, and has always had a strong connection to the ancestral spirits. She is slightly naive, though, still being relatively young in her late 20's.
Special Role-play Ability - Songs of the Ancestors - Although she is still a novice, she has a natural talent for connecting with the ancestral spirits of the Trow and even at times with the goddess Lady Song, often gaining inexplicable insight into and hints about situations and even the future, usually via runes or scrying, but sometimes without any outright attempt to court such insights.

Backstory -
The performance on the docks of Heimatur outside the tavern had gone off flawlessly, the crowd delighted by her tales and her songs; as fitting a tribute to the Lady Song as any could ask for. She had even managed to get a pair of young lads to entertain her in turn later in the evening. By the time the moon was high, she wanted nothing more than a chance to stretch her muscles, venturing deep into the northern woods. It was only there, deep in the mountains where no trails ran save those of particularly hardy foxes and rabbits, that the soft snowfall had turned into a proper blizzard. Even for a Trow, it began to grow risky being in full exposure; unable to find any shelter large enough to accommodate her, Leikny called on the power of her totem, crying out in pain as her form lowered, shrank, sprouted the luxuriously thick and soft pelt of the snow leopard, and began padding atop the snow on now thick, broad paws. She dug into the side of a large snowbank, and settled in for the storm to pass.
By morning, the skies were once again clear, but as she picked her way down from the mountain, she began to realize the landscape was not familiar; the town she moved towards, though similar in ways, was not the one she had left.
Well... not the first time I've had to make a home in a new place, she thought wryly to herself, and went to see where she was, and seek a place for herself, and with luck from the ancestors and Lady Song's blessings, perhaps others like herself...
