No longer applicable, will be deleted or modified upon request of new estate holder.

Can be modified to act as history.

History

Little is known about Raedoria's history outside the past few years of inactivity. While located on the border between Raeyithia, Kraestret, and Andus, it is politically aligned with Raeyithia, but is culturally dominated by Kraestret and Emlyn (mostly because of historic immigration from Emlyn to Raedoria during times of distress.) Raedoria is largely human and only maintains small minorities of the other species.

The previous lord of Raedoria was son-less, which meant that if he died under Raedoria's primogeniture laws, the estate would become sovereign-less and revert to Raeyithia kingdom to determine it's ownership. At the last minute, Cynric, the Demi-human hero who arrived years earlier to serve in Raedoria's household, was adopted and elevated upon the old Lord's death. He takes a sharply different view of Raedoria's place in the world and is switching from the passive idleness of old to a footing of rapid development and organization.

Current Status

Currently, the newly elevated Lord of Raedoria, Cynric Degenhard is trying to cultivate better ties with its closest neighbor Kraestret. He has even gone so far as to raid the larder of Raedoria to send aid to Drokkburg during its time famine and tribulation. Unfortunately the first caravan was ambushed, and while Marshal William managed to keep the caravan and it's supplies intact, it only just returned to Raedoria without having arrived at Drokkburg.

Raedoria maintains good relationships with most estates and kingdoms. It is however strongly independent minded compared to other vassal estates but remains under the Raeyithia kingdom nominally for now.
