Cora Silverleaf
#1
Discord Id - Lyrrin#8940

Previous Characters - Hephaestra, Blair Seawan, Sylvanei, etc

Character Name - Cora Silverleaf

Character Race & Sub-Race - Muiri, Flower fairy. Like most flower fairies from her world, her existence is tied to a specific patch of flowers.

Alternate Graphic - Pixie graphic #128

Character Description - True form: Cora is very tiny, less than a foot tall with translucent butterfly-like wings. Her long hair is bright red, and she has big, bright green childlike eyes. She has delicate features, a tiny button nose, and a bright smile that she accentuates with bright red lipstick. She likes to wear bright flowy clothing that often clashes.
Human form: She looks mostly like a larger version of her true form, but is too heavy to fly so usually doesn't bother adding wings to her human form.

Shard Plot Line (Strengths & Weaknesses) - Cora is not malicious, but does what she pleases. She might align well with houses that have a more chaotic bent. Strengths: Excellent at glamor, very charming, can sneak around because she's so small. Weaknesses: She can be weakened or even controlled if someone finds and threatens the flowers she is tied to.

Special Role-play Ability - Can't think of one right now. Will update if I do.

Previous World - The world of Meredith Gentry, but in the past / middle ages rather than modern times.

Backstory -
The stalk bent as Cora perched on it, wings fluttering like a hummingbird's to keep her upright. She had been following the Giant for half an hour, trying to encourage it to leave the grove without being seen. She had never seen anything like the Giant before. It looked kind of like Cora but... it was HUGE. She had heard of this thing, called a "Human", but had never seen one. Its feet were as large as Cora, and it used them to trample flowers and plants without a second thought. It was getting too close to HER flowers. How rude.

Cora was lucky. Some of her kind had very short lives, only living as long as a single plant that took root, bloomed, and died within a year. Cora's flower was more resilient: it hibernated in the winter and bloomed again in the spring, so she guarded it carefully from harm, and tended the patch around it so it wouldn't get lonely. And now some clumsy Giant-Human was wandering around putting her in danger.

Cora zipped in closer to the Giant, clawing at its leg to try and steer it elsewhere. The Giant jumped with an "OW", but when it looked, all it saw were some brambles raking its calf. Cora poked the Giant in the fleshy part of its arm with a thorn, and when the Giant looked all it saw was a bee buzzing away. The bushes nearby rattled, made a low growl. Another bee sting, on the shoulder. The Giant looked warily in the direction of the bushes and the disappearing bee, and decided to go in another direction.

Cora let out a giggle and started flying back toward her home. But...something strange caught her eye. A glimmer? A patch of air that didn't look....right. She flew over, zipping back and forth in front of the glimmer, and poked at it with a tiny finger. Just air. Tilting her head curiously, she floated directly into the glimmer and... Wrong wrong whichwayisup wrongwrong help

The world righted itself again, but she wasn't home anymore. Panicked, she felt in her heart for the Bond. It was still there... somehow her Flower had moved with her. Somewhere in this new world, a single bright red poppy bloomed, waiting for her to find it.
