Ayda Haverston
#1
Discord Id - Cinders#2130

Previous Characters - Nyre, Jata Raara

Character Name - Ayda Haverston

Character Race & Sub-Race- Human, hybrid (vampire/werewolf)

Alternate Graphic - Cu Sidhe, white

Character Description - Ayda stands a slender 5'3" with a frame that suggests she would be easy to pick up and simply toss aside and would likely be considered a beautiful young woman if she would gain weight. Her skin is smooth and unmarred in its entirety, a pale porcelin, but the effect is interrupted by visible hipbones and ribs that suggest the girl may be starving herself. Cerulean eyes are surrounded by long, thick lashes but carry a consistently haunted look in their depths, contradicting the thick mane of sunset hued hair that usually denotes a fiesty personality.

In her wolf form, Ayda is an unexpected stark white color, much larger than any usual wolf and with less of a starved look about her. Her fur is thick and healthy and the wolf possesses the same cerulean eyes - those and the dark black nose are the only color on the large canine.

Shard Plot Line (Strengths & Weaknesses)- Ayda possesses a hatred of what she has become that is both a strength and a weakness, a trait guilds on either side of the coin could exploit and/or use to their advantage. Tending to stay on the outer fringes, she would do well as a spy or scout for whichever kingdom she joins.

Special Role-play Ability - Other than the expected enhanced sense of smell, Ayda is an empath - often avoiding crowds due to the overload of emotions. Additionally, she is able (with permission) to sense true emotions of those around her, even if hidden outwardly.

Previous World - Late Middle Ages, alternative history Earth

Backstory -

Born to a humble pig farmer, Ayda grew with the expectation that she would marry into a wealthier family, endured endless teasing from her brother, and led the most usual of lives until she was taken by the Templar Knights. For two agonizing years, they tested and experimented on the young woman with both vampire and lycan blood in the hopes of creating some preternatual Templar to unleash as they pleased.

For two years, Ayda prayed for death and life all in the same breath, suffering through torment that nearly cost that life several times. The last attempt was the worst, but perhaps also the best, for as her skin split and bones cracked to the sounds of an excited "doctor" cheering over his latest success, the young woman gave in to the tempting pull of unconsciousness.

She awoke naked on the shore of an unfamiliar river, her body trembling in fatigue and pain, but took full advantage of freedom and set off immediately whichever way her feet led.
