Character Description
Tatiana is a small Aelfeyn woman of about 5'6" in stature, built on a petite if almost fragile frame. Everything about her is pale, though she is far from being considered properly albinistic - her skin is a porcelain fairness with only freckles to ruin the illusion, and her hair is a light honey blonde. Her eyes, reserved yet gentle, are an intense ice-blue so pale they are almost white, and set beneath rather expressive brows. One could say she has a traditional beauty about her, though her chin is stubborn and her nose a bit long for her - or so she believes. She has a small tattoo - unnervingly akin to a brand of some sort - just beneath her left collarbone.

Her other self, while large by traditional wolf standards, is a fairly small lycanthropic beast - comparable in size to an Irish Wolfhound. An almost perfect translation of her true self, her fur is a rich honey gold with bright streaks of white through her belly, down her legs, and along the underside of her tail. She is an agile wolf, built entirely for speed and grace.

Shard Plot Line
Brought here from her home world by Fenrir, Tatiana is a child born with the ability to transform from "humanoid" to wolf, possessing no dual or split nature as human werewolves are wont to do but an ingrained instinct that compliments the nature of Aelfeyn will and wolf survival. With cunning at her side, she presents a perfect tool for the Northern gods to utilize, both literally and symbolically - the wolf at the door, so to speak.

Special Role-play Ability
Heart of the Pack: Born and raised of a people known for their literal and figurative ties to wolves and pack hierarchy, Tatiana possesses a natural alpha's ability to draw in other wolves to her and, to a point, influence them - those that trust her, she can even command though she can be resisted if commands go against the core of their nature. This allows her to be the heart of any pack she brings together, the middle of a wheel's spokes, the center of a web. Some things she may be capable of (with OOC permission) include forcing changes on others, and helping them temper emotions.

Previous World
A world comparable to middle-earth, with a touch of "true" earth to it as well. Her people are a distinct mix of inspiration taken from Dacian roots, Norse Alfar, and from Tolkein Silvan elven lore.

Backstory
What happens to a once-great people when their origins and their true natures are forgotten, suffocated beneath a hundred years of conformity and restriction? Like beasts chained and starved, they forget that they are the predator beneath the weight. Such is the fate of the Vasiliu clan, a powerful royal house in their own right and yet beings that are half what they could be - what they once were, whose ancestors heralded from the north and brought with them magic. Power. Knowledge.

All they retained of their former glory was the long-storied connection to wolves. Born a Varúlfur, Tatiana has possessed a wolf "self" since the day she could comprehend what the idea meant. As all of the Vasiliu clan could before her, she was capable of shifting from "human" to wolf and back with remarkable ease, a trait of her "pure" royal blood. It marked her... Valuable, in a world that suggested a woman's only value was as a bargaining chip.

She was being wasted, and when her value was witnessed not by mortal men but by deities - gods her own people had long ago forsaken and forgotten - her fate was sealed. She was betrayed by her own brethren, cut down by a jealous hand and left to die - and it was then that the Wolf came for her.

You'll do.

Now wake up.

When she awoke within a world not her own, it was as if a veil had been lifted, a smokescreen cleared. With sudden clarity, she knew. She knew what she was, who she was, and perhaps even something of her purpose. Where before she had been existing, quite suddenly she awoke with the knowledge that now she would be living. As all Aelfeyn would.

Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they're often better groomed.
