Vittoria di Mercurio
#1
Discord ID: Cele #3115

Character Name: Vittoria di Mercurio, Lady of Marsilikos

Other Characters: Caelestia Roisin, Rin, Nova
Character Race: Human
Sub-Race: Hybrid (vampire and werewolf)
Alternative Graphic: regular wolf (black)

Character Description:
Standing at an average height of 56, Vittoria is neither exceptionally tall nor abnormally short. Long, dark hair tumbles freely around her shoulders in waves, offsetting her smooth, pore-less peach hued skin. Large cat-like eyes glow like emeralds in the right light and are ringed by thick, dark lashes and often accentuated with cosmetics.

She moves with a preternatural grace and takes great care with her appearance, both physical and social. Clothing and accessories are used to her advantage and the scent of expensive perfumes follow her wherever she goes.

Kingdom:
Unknown but possibly Kraestrat

Shard Plot Line:
In her previous life, Vittoria had served as the Lady of Marsilikos. Publicly she was a benevolent ruler but in private the machinations she conceived of to keep her city safe and within her grasp were nothing less than devious. As a member of the Unseen Guild she is no stranger to the art of espionage and will use her training in this new world to further her goals and those of whatever kingdom or house she sets her sights on.

Special Roleplay Trait:
Compulsion: The ability to compel others to do as she commands or to even forget or alter memories. Magical creatures (Fae), witches, and vampires older then herself are immune and there are other ways to protect oneself from the effects. (based on ooc permission from a player, primarily used on npcs for rp/story reasons)

Previous World: A world loosely based on the universe of the Vampire Diaries and the Originals with some inspiration from the Kushiel series

Backstory:

The consummate courtier, the ultimate predator.

Much of Vittoria’s existence had been caught between three worlds, not fully accepted by any. Her kind were a rarity and with the frequent falling outs she had with her sire she spent most of her time alone. Not physically alone, no, but devoid of any true companionship. Who could understand the existence of an abomination without being one themselves?

Nearly nine centuries had passed and she had watched as mankind progressed. Each year, each new invention, each Hunter born threatened not only the secret of those like herself but their very survival. Despite her best efforts Marsilikos was no longer the haven it had once been and she was weary to the bone.

There came a time in the lifespan of an immortal when the Long Sleep called to them. It was now that Vittoria heard its call and resolved to allow herself into its welcoming embrace. There were no goodbyes to be said. The ones who mattered would be there when, if, she awoke.

She had not expected there to be dreams. When she awoke she only had faint memories of what she had seen but she was not completely surprised when she found she was no longer in her keep. Something waited for her here and she needed to find what.

Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they're often better groomed.

I LOVE that series. If you can actually pull off a character like Phedre no Delaunay... With the spying and intrigue and raw sentuality you will certainly be a force to reckon with, for any house. Very cool.

Approved.

Phedre is one of my favorite characters in fiction! Thank you!
