Eve Sinde
#1
Discord Id –
Katya#7341

Previous Characters –
Katya Róisin, Arzu Eventide, Artemisia Renata, etc!

Character Name –
Eve Sinde

Character Race & Sub-Race –
Construct, Clockwork.
E.V.E. 51ND-E (Exceptionally Versatile Emulator, Test Prototype number 51ND-E)

Alternate Graphic --
Exodus Overseer – could this be re-hued? I’m not sure if it works at all on this graphic, but an accepted/allowed shade of sandy pink would be nice. If not that one, white would work, too. Disregard if it doesn’t dye!

Character Description —

E.V.E., quite simply, is made to be sleek, shiny, and one hell of a looker — for a construct. She has no sharp angles anywhere to be found.

Her chassis is silken-smooth, crafted meticulously from a burnished rose-gold material that appears close to sandstone. Scandalously, the designation E.V.E. is hand-carved into the backside of her chassis, engraved signature-style in a stylish silver flourish.

She has a small number (three, to be exact) of tiny, hidden compartments — the outlines of these can be seen if you look hard enough. She uses these to carry trinkets, shiny things, or just… anything that catches her optic sensor.

She is able to use her rather modest vocal processors to emulate a tinkling, high-pitched, and pleasant form of “human-like” speech.

Though she is equipped with two stylish and functional pincers that are meant to be brutally effective in combat, E.V.E. prefers to adorn these with various small possessions and vanity items.

Shard Plotline —

Currently, I would like her to be restricted to the Summer Isle only.

Special Role-Play Ability —

Solar Power: E.V.E. thrives in the sunlight/on especially sunny days, and may act more energetic during those times. Conversely, darkness or especially gloomy days may slow her down a bit.

Previous World -–

Reminiscent of the worlds of H.G. Wells or Jules Verne, E.V.E.’s former world is one of both horror and beauty — sometimes transposed so interchangeably that even she, as a result, does not understand there is a difference.

E.V.E.’s world was thriving — so much so, that most organic elements of the world had disappeared. Trees, grass, carbon-based life forms…. Most had been killed off, over-bred, or “upgraded” a hundred years prior to E.V.E.’s creation. The majority of the sentient population — once reasonably human-like — had upgraded themselves beyond recognition, or intermixed with non-human entities.

Magic existed, as did machinery, eldritch horrors, and delights of various divinities with their hands in the pockets of E.V.E.’s pleasant little world.

As such, the “natural” world has now become superfluous. E.V.E., a brand-new prototype in a long line of failed prototypes, is just plain….

Backstory –

“WEIRD!”

The old man stomped away with a bellow, casting his archaic tools to the ground and sending spare bits of clockwork scattering. A solitary spring, tiny and silver, gave a sad, wheezy sproing-oing-oing as it fell.

“Weird! It’s just weird! It LIKES the sun. And the dad-blasted trees.” The old man huffed with exasperation as he sat down next to his young, weary apprentice.

“And do you know what I caught it DOING just now?! It was trying to WATER that weed that I keep pulling out of the front entryway! The thing is NOT logical, is… is counter-productive, and just plain WEIRD!”

As the old inventor stomped off into his personal quarters, the slender apprentice knelt down beside the crestfallen E.V.E. and sighed.

“Don’t worry, small friend. Weird isn’t always…. bad.” The young man smiled, setting the round little construct in the sunny spot that 51ND-E seemed to prefer, before it was retired for the day.

The clockwork construct gave no response — odd, as it had always been a particularly loquacious prototype. The apprentice locked up the shop and left, trying to get rid of the uneasy feeling that a Prototype 51ND-F was already being constructed back in the inventor’s quarters. He definitely didn't look at the large scrap heap next to the shop, where 51ND models A-D lay forlornly, soon to be forgotten.

Back in the sunny spot, E.V.E. 51ND-E slept, as much as constructs can.

And she dreamed.

Of trees. Of magic, grass, flowers, and the scent of fresh rainfall. She dreamed of a place where oil, gears, and upgrades weren’t things to be striven for.

E.V.E. slept, and dreamed of trees.

In the morning, she awoke. And she was someplace….. green.

Hello. Approved.

Please update the application in the future to edit the shard storyline question, if you want to have world map access. Thanks
