Character Description
Rhys stands at about 5'9", a pleasantly average height in most aspects. His build is athletic and decidedly slender, though perhaps with a few good meals he might fill out -- the slight gauntness to his face suggests he's missed a few here and there. With skin that suggests a natural fairness but ruddied with freckles and signs of sun exposure, he gives a hint to a mixed heritage with a strong jawline that contrasts a slightly too-delicate nose and almond-shaped eyes. His hair, all of it, is a chestnut brown with heavy red undertones, which clash with pale grey eyes. Most notably, the man is littered with scars, including one cut across nose and left brow, and one along right jaw.

His wolf shape is large, a dichotomy to his almost delicate human form. Notably larger than the common wolf, his coat is an earthy brown not unlike the color of his hair. The only discerning mark, other than the litany of scars that make far more sense on the wolf's body than the man's in placement, is a streak of white that runs from the beast's chest and down his belly. Though large in size, his wolf form shows equal signs of malnourishment at the moment.

Shard Plot Line
A forgotten soul from the land he came from, a lone wolf showing all the signs of being without, Rhys was called from his homelands and placed into the world for one reason -- flexibility. His soul sits on a pendulum, capable of being swayed a number of ways and with skill and wit enough to possibly tip the balance ever, ever so slightly into the favor of the one or ones he chooses to follow. The Gods know him to be a wild card, and he was a risk to bring, but risk is something worth taking in so great a battle.

Special Role-play Ability
Having been a lycanthrope for the majority of his known life, Rhys possesses the keen senses expected of his kind. His nose and olfactory senses as a whole are highly specialized and attuned to his surroundings, allowing him to sense a great deal of information by scent alone -- emotions (most especially fear, arousal, and the tang of knowingly spoken lies), sickness, biological changes, and general surroundings are all things he can clue in on. This is a double-edged blade however, as he can be easily overwhelmed when faced with intentionally powerful smells (i.e. perfumes, rot, etc).

Previous World
Grimmwold (the only world I'm personally familiar with, though I will take suggestions if he fits fiction of another world better!)

Backstory
"The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives..."
"... And he was perishing."

He was never meant to be alone in the world like this, and he knew that he wouldn't survive it. Outcast, dispersed, unwanted were all labels that stuck like thorns beneath hair and hide, and for all he tried, he could not outrun the consequences of them. When the pack, his clan and the very creatures that cursed him to begin with deemed him unworthy, he had signed his life over to fate and whatever waited for him beyond. He never expected it would be this, however.

He thought he had died, truth be told. Perhaps he had, and he just hadn't realized it yet. Yet here Rhys stood on foreign land with foreign smells and foreign faces, and he knew instinctively that it meant something... great. Great, however, was so often terrible. He had no desire to be a stranger, yet his path had been chosen for him. Start anew,  young pup, it all seemed to say. Here was a chance to become something that the world you knew would never allow. He is a new face to the lands, having quite literally just been brought forth from the lost world he once was part of. A wild card, a soul hell-bent on survival for all he wished he could be at peace, a potential tripwire to all the best-laid plans. He was chosen because of this. Chaos in calculation, it was only a matter of what he decided to do with his new life that would determine his path and the path of every soul that crossed by.

Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they're often better groomed.
