Kithrinda
#1
Discord ID: Morde #0476

Previous Characters: Tekla (Grimm), Iszela Zelkova (Grimm), Eiko Ozaki (here and Com 2), Sylise, Sahja Khouri

Character Name: Kithrinda

Character Race & Sub-Race: Aelfyn/Ghost Elf - They are a sub-race of elves from D&D’s Forgotten Realms campaign.

Alternate Graphic: None

Character Description: An elf of flesh and blood standing at 5’10”. Unlike her cousins, she bears the frail frame and slight build of her people, having long lost the bond with nature and taken up the bond with the ethereal plane. Due to centuries long habitation in the ethereal plane, the Ghost Elves underwent a physical evolution. Her flesh is a pale grey that glows with an eerie light, and behind long silvery-white hair rests mirrored eyes that lack any definition of pupil, iris, or sclera. Runic-type symbols are tattooed into her skin, though only seem to be visible during the night.  (Body hue 0; Hair Hue 1154, if possible)

Shard Plot Line: She believes her true purpose as a divine tool has come to light in being called by her god to lay foot upon Sanctuary. Eager to fulfill Moradin’s ultimate plan for the world, and to server her god, she will seek out like-minded souls to ally herself with and to aid in victory in His Name.

Special RP Ability: Psychic Feedback - Ability to emit a feedback that causes telepaths attempting to hook into her mind an excruciatingly painful experience.

Previous World: Faerûn

Backstory: The deep forests were rarely visited by outsiders, and even less so willfully explored by those living at its edge. Strange things can be seen in the shadows - ghosts, they say, with soulless eyes and the ability to glide through the air. Kithrinda knew all the rumors that surrounded her people and the name they were given. She didn’t fault them in the slightest - they were the ones that spurred the mysteries of the “haunted wood” by keeping their borders and homelands safe from intruders. Their presence was often disbelieved and, for their sake, this fact allowed them to live peacefully between two worlds.

The ancient wood she dwelt held many mysteries that others did not see. Decayed trees that seemed long abandoned from nature, covered in thick moss and twisted, great roots upended, held pathways to tunnels beneath. From one of these, she materialized into the wood, careful to detect any foreign motion between the thick trees. The forest was still. A moment’s hesitation, though, caused her to look back to the passageway. A pang of remorse and homesickness struck her at the core and caused her heart to lurch heavily into her throat. Kithrinda began to phase shift, but immediately halted, drawing a long breath slowly. Though she’d likely never return home, she felt Moradin’s call to service.

Clutching her bow in hand, Kithrinda silently raced through the dark wood towards the very center, disappeared from Faerun, and entered into Sanctuary.

Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they're often better groomed.
