Previous World - Ayanee
Backstory -
In the realm of Ayenee those who are unhappy with their lives sometimes come across strange entities offering new beginnings or other worldly powers in exchange for something of value.
A young lord came across a Ring. A pretty black obsidian and silver ring H noticed it had a dragon carved into the stone and the rings engravings around the band were of the best make. He couldn't simply leave it laying in the dirt now could he?
He placed it on his hand where by a wizard appeared proclaiming “You shall be the vessel! You have been chosen to bind the form of Dagon so i may have him do my bidding!” The young lord was taken aback by the wizard's sudden appearance and fell to the ground. He had no time to worry over the wizards word though, as the ring began to burn on his finger searing the flesh away and shrinking to the bone. He watched in horror as the stone melded with his hand.
After a century of doing the wizards bidding the Demi-god Dagon became tired of the wizards games and sought one who might slay or release him. He found a noble paladin who agreed to break the right if dagon promised to leave the realm of Ayenee and never return. The demi-god agreed and the paladin crushed the stone of the ring with a mighty swing of his blessed hammer.
Dagon then left the realm still bound to the human but not before dispatching the wizard who had caused him such annoyance. He also took the wizards knowledge of mortal magics as a souvenir.
shard plot: Dagon seeks to regain communication if not control over his Glamour, Kelien. To do this he he must first have a ring forged to re bind them. thogh this time he shall be the one to rule himself. He seeks to re attain the respect he once knew from humans. To this end he has joined with the children of Io.
