Character Race and Sub-Race: Human / Demi-Human

Alternate Graphic:  None

Character Description: Amir stands roughly 6'0 tall and while generally silent and observant his presence commands attention. The hot desert conditions are not the most hospitable, yet the men and women of the Ra's al-Asad tribe pay it little mind. Amir would be considered a fine specimen of a male with his angular facial features and piercing grey eyes. Some women have said that one look of those eyes would make even a princess do his bidding. Being nomadic in nature him and his people are used to the power struggles of the sands, and they stay in the top fighting conditioning through rigorous physical and martial training. His rich tan and dark trimmed beard that marks his face give him a look that those of other kingdoms might see as exotic, but common among his people. He bears no identifying marks on his body except the mark of a Lion on his chest. his tribal name Ra's al-Asad means "Head of the Lion".

Character Kingdom: Kingdom of Andus

Special Roleplay Traits: He is immune to poisons as part of their desert conditioning to the many poisonous critters and animals out there. he has ingested small doses of poisons for years making his body immune to their effects.

Backstory:  Amir sat on a sandbank a short walk from the tents of the tribe. As he gazed off into the setting sun over the crests of sand as the wind gently brushed them, he thought briefly about his life before he arrived here. It hadn't been too different, and maybe the reason why adapting to these lands was easy for him. His people were made up of warrior tribes in his homeland so this was second nature to him and he always had the gift for trading and haggling. He remembers how he got his first gold coin nearly 8 years ago when he played a game of chance and raced a rich merchant on horseback for his prized horse. Doubling down he walked away with a horse, and enough goods to start out as a trader. He had a keen eye for quality, and luckily he had hit the jackpot. He built a small fortune in the next few years, and when he had a comfortable sum decided to bring his heritage from back home of horse breeders, and traveling merchants to his followers, and establish an even more comfortable living for themselves. Now, his horses are prized breeds and it costs a fortune to own an
Al-Asadi breed. To even be considered one must be of noble lineage, and be able to pay a small fortune for one of the fastest, and most durable beasts in the known lands. Kings and Sultans alike have sought their horses and exotic goods.

He was brought back to the current moment as the sound of music and singing emerging from the main tent carried on to him through the breeze in the clear dark sky. He looked up to the crescent moon and for a moment and basked in the beauty of the dark night sky and the billions of stars that greeted him. He stared up to the Lion constellation feeling a pride burn in his heart as he placed a hand over his mark and bowed his head in respect and then stood up to return to his people. The trade market of Al Shadiya would be sure to prove quite bountiful tomorrow with new goods acquired from across the 5 kingdoms ready for sale. The gentle hand on his shoulder made him smile briefly as his fiercest and most loyal companion looked up at him, her amber eyes warm and comforting. They didn't need words between each other. She was always attuned to him, and in combat, they had bested many odds that were not in their favor. They moved silently through the sands to the tent as the voices erupted in greeting when they opened the tent flaps and wine flowed as if a river in celebration of the next days events.

Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as the wings of angels, although they're often better groomed.
