Character Description - Standing a little under 6ft, Darkmane is a tall slender man in his forties (judging by his appearance, his real age is unknown). Darkmane's appearance is rather average with nothing really to distinguish him, except for a faint scar running from the right eye to the corner of his mouth. And while the wavy hair, from which the nickname Darkmane came is still jet black, his beard has streaks of silver running through it.
Shard Plot Line          - Over the last year Darkmane has spent his time leather working and making clothes on Summer Isle, content with this new life, save for the occasional nightmare that pulls him from his sleep. Lately though, he has been standing on the beach looking out across the sea, something pulling him to the lands on the horizon. Curiosity?, his past? or something else? Chances are Darkmane will watch the Houses fight among themselves and consider it not his problem. But circumstance and fate can be unpredictable.
Special RP Ability      - While Darkmane does not possess any real special abilities, it has been commented around town that he moves like a ghost, often people have been startled by his sudden, silent approach followed by a friendly good morning.
Previous World          - Unknown. Fragments of cobblestone streets, flicking street lamps, dark majestic buildings.
BackStory -

A cold morning mist sits between the dark buildings, running down an alley, feet falling silently on the wet cobblestones. The feeling that something is wrong, a right turn and up a flight of stone steps. Through the mist a river comes into view bringing a sense of relief, just a little further. A metallic twang brings a shooting pain and confusion. 

Darkmane sits bolt upright in his bed, sweating and shaking. Another nightmare. 

It had been a year since Darkmane woke up on the beach here at Summer Isle with no memory of who he was or how he had come to be there, his only possessions were the ripped clothes that clung to his wet body. A local tailor out combing the beach found Darkmane and took him in. Helping around the shop for food and board, it seemed that he had quite the knack for tailoring and it wasn't long before Darkmane was contributing his own garments to the shop. You could say, despite his lack of memory life was good, maybe perfect if it wasn't for the bad dreams.
