Just a heads up: There is no housing in Underhill. It's purely hunting grounds. So long as you understand this and are okay with the risks attached to it, you are welcome to make it your residence.
As for the background story - has your character been here a few months? A few years? Newly arrived? If the latter, can you show us how they arrived? Unless I am missing something, it looks like he arrived someplace else and took up shop.
