We might need to take a look at how much each resource pulls up, flax runs out really fast, and some of others seem to be quite varied and maybe effecting actual harvest times.  

They don't have to match, but maybe bringing some of the resources "nodes" into a closer range would be good.

I have raised the amount you get from each plant significantly. Most of them were set to 7 or 9, but herbs for apothecary were set to 100, so I set foods to 50 and flax/cotton to 100. You will still get 2 crop per X time, but you won't have to switch to a new plant as often.
