In previous shards exceptional crafted items gave a bump in the stats/armor of the item. I think it would be nice to see this implemented. Currently there is no discernible difference between a bow you craft that is exceptional and one you find on a MOB... same for leather armor.

It looks like exceptional weapons get a 20% damage bonus + 20% durability bonus. You can tell the difference in the character status window, your damage range will be larger if you equip an exceptional vs nonexceptional weapon.

Exceptional armor gets an 8 point boost in AR + 20% durability bonus. You can NOT see your AR rating and it doesn't change your displayed physical resist so you wouldn't be able to tell. I'm going to close this but open another wishlist item to be able to see your actual AR somewhere.
