Failed Wine Attempts and Kegs

When you fail a wine attempt you lose all of your components, including the empty keg. It makes sense that the grapes, yeast, and sugar would be lost but the keg should be able to be rinsed out and used again. Could this be changed? I felt it was more a bug than a suggestion.
