Overview

Very little is different today under the reign of Brea Wynne Wistari in Midrvegr.  Traditions, as they have held for a thousand years or more, are still upheld. (http://www.sanctuaryshard.com/index.php?...f_Miðrvegr)

The current queen came onto the throne in earlier in the year and has made it clear that she intends to uphold the Folkmoot at the Summer Solstice.  During this event, two-parts festival and one-part democratic council, the Jarls (Estate Owners) will be asked to either ratify her claim to the throne or elect another.  Brea has made it clear she intends to respect the decision either way, but history has shown that few Midrvegr rules give up power without a fight.

Midrvegr is currently allied with Kraestrat in a political alliance known as the Great Northern Army:
