Daisy and Lara's Guidelines for Estate Changes/Upgrades


General Rules
  1. We reserve the right to refuse any changes to the map & statics that we feel are detrimental to the shard's appearance and longevity. 
  2. We reserve the right to completely rebuild any structures that were not originally built by this team at no cost to the player. We will allow the current estate owner to make requests/suggestions.
  3. Changes to level 1 forts can not be upgraded to appear visually as level 2 strongholds/castles. (See below.)
  4. Unless Daisy and Lara think changes should be made for free, all changes will cost 1 RPCSS gold bar (100k UO gold) for every 30 mins of build time.
Level 1 vs Level 2 fortifications
There are two levels of defense on fortifications; level 1 and level 2.  It is crucial these levels of defense are represented visually in-game.
There are, at the time of this post, six level 2 fortifications; five in the capitals, and the estate in Novachebay.  There are two other estates that will be allowed to upgrade to level 2 once the estate owner reaches court level 10 in RPCSS; Raedoria and Carigsay. Meissa would only need a wall added to upgrade it.

Consequently, please understand the following rules:
  1. You can't upgrade your estate to a level 2 fortification until you have already reached Court Level 10 and are ready to pay for the upgrades.
  2. All level 1 fortifications are restricted to being less than 100x100 tiles in size and may NOT have an outer retaining wall that is more than a secondary walkable level (ground +1).  Towers and main estate buildings can do up to 3 stories at Daisy's discretion.
Free of Charge Upgrades
The following estates are planned to be upgraded for free at this time, in order:

  1. Tarnsted - This estate is blank and reserved.  Done!
  2. Esholt - This is an orc fort but isn't reserved, skip to next if not reserved by the time its ready to be started.
  3. Estervern - This is an orc fort and is reserved  Done!
  4. Novechebay - This is the nightmare castle and needs to be made more presentable for general RP. Done!
  5. Molvernia - Due for some light upgrades
  6. Heresevain - Due for some light upgrades
  7. Langdalr - Due for some light upgrades
  8. Brighwell - Due for a rebuild
  9. Westleeuw - Might get a rebuild  DONE!
